Softball

  Senior Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) was named the Most Outstanding Player Sunday as the Lynchburg College softball team swept three Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament games en route to its second-straight conference title. The shortstop hit .500 in the three games, swatting two home runs and driving in four Hornets.  She is hitting .309 for the season, with 23 runs scored, 25 runs batted in and four home runs while starting at shortstop every game of the season for the seventh-ranked Hornets.
