Hornet Baseball Game with Greensboro Cancelled

LYNCHBURG, VA -- Due to substantial rain in the Lynchburg area, the Hornet baseball team has been forced to cancel their game with Greensboro College Tuesday. A makeup for today's game is unknown.

Lynchburg (28-8/15-3 ODAC) now turns its attention to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament, which starts this Thursday. LC will play No. 6 seed Hampden-Sydney College at 11 a.m. at Lynchburg City Stadium. The Hornets enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed for the first time since 1992, as they look for their seventh ODAC title, and first since 1990.
