#16 W&L Eliminates LC Men’s Tennis 9-0 in ODAC Tourney
LEXINGTON, VA – The 16th-ranked Washington & University men’s tennis team defeated Lynchburg College 9-0 Wednesday in the first round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) to advance into the semifinals.
Kristen Richardson (Trenton, NJ/Hun School of Princeton) lost his match in a close 6-3, 6-2 decision at #1 singles, and Daniel Civis (Forest, VA/Holy Cross) won five games at #2. Jay Duimstra (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) hung in tough before going down 6-4, 6-2.
The Hornets end the season 4-13.
