W and L Downs LC Women’s Lax 14-1

                LEXINGTON, VA – The Washington & Lee University women’s lacrosse team scored the first 14 goals of the game Tuesday and breezed to a 14-1 win Tuesday over Lynchburg College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.

                Katie Flippen scored three times for the Generals, Christina Bender, Emily Mathews and Laura Henson each scored twice. Kathryn Ollice (West Chester, PA/West Chester) scored the Hornets’ goal.

                Lynchburg (7-8/2-5 ODAC) travels to Sweet Briar College Saturday for more ODAC play at 2 p.m.
