Lynchburg Baseball Pushes Back Date with Tigers

LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College baseball team was forced to move back its Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tuesday contest with Hampden-Sydney College to Wednesday afternoon after the heavy rain that invaded the area this weekend.

Also, Friday's doubleheader with North Carolina Wesleyan College has been moved to 3 p.m., playing only a single non-conference tussle.  

LC (21-7/10-1 ODAC) is in the midst of a seven-game winning streak, its longest since 2004 when the Hornets put together 16-straight victories. Also, it's the first time since 1994 that Lynchburg has had three winning streaks of five or more games.
