LC Baseball Postpones VWC Doubleheader

LYNCHBURG, VA - The weather again got the best of the Hornets and Marlins Sunday, as wet conditions and consistant drizzle and mist forced both teams to postpone the game. This ends a frustrating week for the Hornets, who had three games canned because of weather.

The Marlins and Hornets (21-7/10-1 ODAC) will now battle next Sunday, April 13 on Fox Field at 1 p.m. LC is in the midst of a seven-game winning streak, its longest since 2004 when the Hornets put together 16-straight victories. Also, its the first time since 1994 that Lynchburg has had three winnings streaks of five or more games.
