Bridgewater Sweeps LC Tennis
LYNCHBURG, VA – The Bridgewater College Eagle men’s and women’s tennis teams each defeated their Lynchburg College counterparts 9-0 Friday in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.
Daniel Civis (Forest, VA/Holy Cross) was defeated after dropping a tie-breaker in the second set, and Jay Duimstra (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) won four games in his second set at #3 singles.
Krysten Bishop (Big Rapids, MI/Big Rapids) had a very competitive match for the LC women, dropping her second set 7-5.
Both Hornet squads will head to Greensboro College Tuesday for non-conference action at 12:30 p.m.
