LC Baseball Postpones Ferrum, VWC Matchups

LC Baseball Postpones Ferrum, VWC Matchups

LYNCHBURG, VA - Due to wet conditions in Ferrum, VA, the Lynchburg College baseball team has been forced to postpone their game with the Panthers of Ferrum College Thursday. Also, the Hornets confernece doubleheader with Virginia Wesleyan College Saturday has been postponed.

The Marlins and Hornets (21-7/10-1 ODAC) will now battle Sunday, April 6 on Fox Field at 1 p.m., while the Hornets-Panthers game in Ferrum, VA still does not have a make-up date. LC is in the midst of a seven-game winning streak, its longest since 2004 when the Hornets put together 16-straight victories. Also, its the first time since 1994 that Lynchburg has had three winnings streaks of five or more games.
