Roanoke Women Down LC 15-4

                SALEM, VA – Gina Valles tallied three goals and four assists Wednesday evening to lead the Roanoke College women’s lacrosse team to a 15-4 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win over Lynchburg.

                Hornet freshman attack Patty Sheehan (Lutherville, VA/St. Timothy’s) scored three of the LC goals, while Lindsay Gengras (Avon, CT/Avon) also scored. Morgan Logue (Barrington, IL/Barrington) assisted on one of the Lynchburg scores.

                Amanda Hutchins had four goals for the Maroons (5-6/3-2 ODAC), and Ella Wade and Brooks Laufman each had two scores and two assists.

                The Hornets (6-5/2-3) travel to Sweet Briar College Saturday for more ODAC play at 1 p.m.
