Senior shortstop Ronnie LaBrie (Vinton, VA/Staunton River) finished the past seven days with a 3-1 record, thanks in part to the offense from LaBrie. He hit .583 the last four games, reaching base over 75 percent of the time this week, walking three times and was plunked six times by pitches.

LaBrie was successful on all seven of his stolen base attempts, while scoring 12 times and driving in six runs. He also slugged 1.167 on the week, a team-high, and hit his team-best fourth homer of the season against Tufts University on Friday.

He was also honored as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) baseball player of the week for the second-straight week Monday as released by the conference office.
