Lynchburg College will host an information session for prospective graduate students on Monday, March 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Alumni House Lounge. Lynchburg College offers course work leading to the M.A., the M.Ed., and the M.B.A. degrees.

Those attending the information session will have an opportunity to meet with the dean of graduate studies, coordinators of the various graduate programs, and enrollment services staff to explore program features, benefits, and requirements. Information on financial aid and GRE and GMAT testing also will be available.

The newest addition to the M.A. program will be the M.A. in music, a summer program for choral and instrumental conducting beginning in June. Other M.A. programs include English and history. Six M.Ed. concentrations are offered in school and community counseling, educational leadership, reading, special education, science education, and curriculum and instruction.

The M.B.A. offers a generic program in addition to two alternative concentration tracks in health services management and financial services.

In addition, several non-degree options are available, including new graduate course sequences in biology and mathematics; an earth science add-on endorsement option; a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD); coursework for teacher licensure including the LC Teach Program; counseling licensure; license renewal; and professional and personal enrichment.

The college will waive its $30 application fee for those who submit a completed application during the information session.
