Lynchburg Field Hockey Honored With NFHCA Academic Team Award
Eleven Hornets Named to National Academic Squad

GLEN ALLEN, VA – The Lynchburg College field hockey team was honored on the 2007 ZAG/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2007-08 academic year. Lynchburg was just one of three ODAC teams on the list along with Eastern Mennonite University and Washington & Lee University.

The National Academic squad recognizes those collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2007-08 academic year. The following eleven Hornets were honored on the squad:
