LC Women’s Lax Outscores Bridgewater 19-13

             LYNCHBURG, VA – Deana Welsch (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown), Emily McMillan (Hockessin, DE/Wilmington Friends) and Nichole Locher (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) each scored four times Wednesday to lift the Lynchburg College women’s lacrosse team to a 19-13 win over Bridgewater College.

             Morgan Logue (Barrington, IL/Barrington) scored three times for the Hornets, while Lindsay Gengras (Avon, CT/Avon) posted two goals and an assist. Welsch added three assists and Kaity Johnston (Herndon, VA/Herndon) had one goal and two assists.

             Lindsay Snyder tallied four scores for the Eagles (1-1/0-1 ODAC), and Sarah Wade and Leslie Crawford each found the back of the net three times.

             The Hornets (4-0/1-0 ODAC) host Guilford College Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m.
