Equestrian Competes at Bridgewater College
HARRISONBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College equestrian team competed at the Bridgewater IHSA show this Saturday, finishing in sixth place.
Patricia Williams and Mary Prinzinger (Goode, VA/Jefferson Forest) each finished second respectively in walk/trot and advanced walk/trot/canter. Charlotte Harris (Middleburg, VA/Madeira) brought home a second place finish in open fences while also placing fourth in open flat. Heather Appelbaum (Severn, MD/Old Mill) placed third in novice flat and Caitlin Flathers (Rixeyville, VA) took a fourth place finish in intermediate flat. Erin Skog (West Chester, PA/Villa Maria), Elise Osborn (Mantua, OH/Andrews School), and Jenny Anzelmo (Yellowstone National Park, WY/Madeira) each finished fifth respectively in intermediate fences, open flat, and intermediate flat.
The equestrian team takes to the road this weekend, traveling to Roanoke, VA, for the Hollins IHSA show on Saturday and to Charlottesville, VA, on Sunday for the University of Virginia IHSA show.
