LC Cheerleaders Take First Place At Atlantic Competition
RICHMOND, VA – The Lynchburg College cheerleading squad took home first place Sunday at the American Cheer and Dance Atlantic Championships at the Stewart C. Siegal Center.
The Hornets cheer squad scored a 197.8, which was good enough for the top spot in their division. Lynchburg College also took home first place in the American Cheer and Dance regional competition at Amherst High School back in December. LC competed against many local cheer club squads, high schools and colleges, including James Madison University.
The Hornets cheerleading squad can be seen at every home basketball game, including Monday evening when they supply support for the men’s basketball team when they take on Roanoke College at 7 p.m. in Turner Gym.
