             EMORY, VA – Six players scored in double figures for the Emory & Henry College men’s basketball team as the Wasps posted a 105-96 win over Lynchburg College Wednesday evening in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game.

             Lynchburg trailed just 55-53 at halftime after shooting 63 percent from the floor before intermission, but the Hornets couldn’t keep up the torrid pace. Sophomore Jeff Langrock (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug) tallied game-highs of 24 points and seven rebounds, going 11-12 from the field. Brad Puffenbarger (Blue Grass, VA/Highland) scored 18 points, Evan Fancourt (Greensboro, NC/Grimsley) nailed four three pointers en route to 14 points and Mason Wooldridge (New Canton, VA/Fork Union) had 13 points and seven assists. Sophomore K.C. Mendez (San Antonio, TX/Winston Churchill) came off the bench to post 12 points in just 17 minutes.

            Andrew Hart stroked five three-point baskets and finished with a team-high 17 points for Emory & Henry (6-11/2-8 ODAC). Josh Lee and Robert Hudson each had 13 points while Camillo Weinz and Jarell Christian added 12 apiece.  E&H shot 55 percent from the floor for the game (36-66), and connected on 46 percent of its three-point attempts (16-35).

             The Hornets (3-13/1-9 ODAC) host Eastern Mennonite University at 2 p.m. in another ODAC game.
