Savannah Tinsley Named Second-Team All-State

Savannah Tinsley Named Second-Team All-State

         LYNCHBURG, VA – Lynchburg College sophomore libero Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) was recently named to the second-team All-State College Division volleyball squad.

         Tinsley was a first-team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) libero this fall. She led the Hornets in digs with 499 and also finished second on the team in service aces with 42. She was second in the ODAC in digs per game, chipping in with 5.04 per game.

         Christopher Newport’s Brittany Collins was named state Player of the Year and Lindsay Barch was named Coach of the Year.

         Rebecca Leedom of Virginia Wesleyan College was named Rookie of the Year.
