        LYNCHBURG, VA – Sophomore Dana Esposito (New Port Richey, FL/Holy Names) scored a season-high 20 points as five Lynchburg College women’s basketball player scored in double figures to topple Guilford College 72-62 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action on Saturday.

         Esposito was 8-9 from the field and 4-5 from three point range while Brittany Dahn (Glen Allen, VA/Deep Run) scored 13 points and corralled 17 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season. Chevonne Booker (Richmond, VA/Thomas Jefferson) tallied 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists while Kylie Lucas (Verona, VA/Fort Defiance) and Kristina Darby (Tampa, FL/Holy Names) each had 12 points. Lucas also contributed with nine boards while Darby tacked on five steals.

         Ann Seufer scored 14 points for Guilford (10-6/5-6 ODAC) and Jasmine Wood had 13. Lynchburg outshot the Quakers 47 to 38% and out-rebounded them 39-38. The Hornets (9-6/6-4 ODAC) travel to Roanoke, VA, to face Hollins University at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
