Brittany Dahn Scores 18 and Rips 18 Rebounds

GREENSBORO, NC – Sophomore forward Brittany Dahn (Glenn Allen, VA/Deep Run) posted team highs of 18 points and 18 rebounds Tuesday night as the Lynchburg College women’s basketball team defeated Guilford College 65-57 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match-up. It is the Hornets’ third win in four tries in their current six-game road swing.

Dahn helped Lynchburg control the inside area, as LC out-rebounded the Quakers 53-43 and scored 32 points in the paint to GC’s 10.

Kristina Darby (Tampa, FL/Holy Names) tallied 10 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Chevonne Booker (Richmond, VA/Thomas Jefferson) had 13 points and four assists while Kylie Lucas (Verona, Va/Fort Defiance) contributed 12 points and seven boards.

         Tracey Croner posted a game-high 23 points for Guilford (9-4/5-4 ODAC).

         Lynchburg (7-4/4-2 ODAC) travels to Washington & Lee University Friday (7 p.m.) and to Roanoke College Saturday (4 p.m.) for two conference contests.
