Hornet Women Defeat E&H 79-72
Brittany Dahn Scores 24 Points
EMORY, VA – The Lynchburg College women’s basketball team started off a six-game road swing with a 79-72 win at Emory & Henry College Tuesday evening in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest.
Sophomore forward Brittany Dahn (Glenn Allen, VA/Deep Run) scored a team-high 24 points for LC and grabbed nine rebounds, while Kylie Lucas (Verona, VA/Fort Defiance) added 14 points, hitting 12 of 16 free-throw attempts. Kristina Darby (Tampa, FL/Holy Names) totaled 13 points and seven steals and Dana Esposito (New Port Richie, FL/Holy Names) had 12 points.
Bailey Snyder had 16 points for Emory & Henry (3-5/2-2 ODAC). Brittany Rogers, Samantha Shepard and Tuesdee Woods each scored 13 points.
Lynchburg (5-3/2-1 ODAC) travels to Eastern Mennonite University Friday for another conference game Friday evening at 7 p.m.
