Mission Statement of the Camp:
The Lynchburg Lacrosse Team Camp is going to emphasize teaching, learning and practicing through game environments. The camp is intended to improve the play of each team that participates through the following important methods;
Each team will have the ability to practice together as a team.
Each team will play at least 6 games.
Each team will have the opportunity to watch and evaluate their game films.
Each team will have the opportunity to have a college coach watch and evaluate their team’s strengths and weaknesses.
This camp is intended to be fun and enjoyable!
All practices and games will be played on Shellenberger Field, a brand new Field Turf field with lights.
Our field house will be available for additional shooting or practices as well.
Each camper will receive 8 meals in our Award Winning Burton Dining Hall
Each camper will live in our college dorms.
Since each game will be filmed, each coach will leave the camp with at least 6 game films; DVD.
The cost for this camp is going to be $375 per camper.
The first day of camp is June 17th and camp will conclude on June 20th Registration will take place in the lobby of Turner Gym between 11:00am and 12:30pm. You can find directions at www.lynchburg.edu During registration you will pick up your keys. The cost for any lost keys will be $50 that will be due at check-out. You will need all of your lacrosse equipment. We will be providing a camp tank top with each person having their own #. You will need to bring your own linens and pillow for the room. Every room is air conditioned! We will have a camp meeting at 1:00 and practices will start at 2:00. A detailed schedule for the week will be provided for you at the registration. Camp meals will start with dinner on the 17th and conclude with breakfast on the 20th. Each team will play a game on the 20th. Saturday's games will be the championships and games will start at 8:00am and will conclude no later than 12:00. You will be able to check out as soon as your game is over.
