Ashley Allen (Richmond, VA/Hermitage) won the weigh-throw competition with a heave of 43’04.50” Saturday at Christopher Newport University’s Holiday Open. She also threw 37’10.75” in the shot put, ranking her second on the Hornet all-time list for both events.
