Academic All Americans

Lynchburg College is a Division III institution. The Traditions of Excellence web page highlights many examples of student-athletes' contributions to Lynchburg College.

Academic All Americans
The most prestigious academic/athletic recognition is the CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All Americans. In the last five years, five Lynchburg College athletes have earned this honor:

  • Lucas Jones, Baseball
  • Christy Mays, Softball
  • A.J. Tinklepaugh, Men’s Lacrosse
  • Lauren Askey, Women's Soccer
  • Brittany Allsop, Softball

Lynchburg College Athletic Honor Roll
Athletes who have earned a 3.0 GPA or higher for the year are given special recognition. The target is to have 50% of the athletes reach this goal.
