Sophomore guard Kristina Darby (Tampa, FL/Holy Names) scored a game-high 21 points in a 79-63 loss on the road at Division I Elon University on Wednesday. Darby shot 7-11 overall from the field and 5-8 from the three point line while adding four rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes. The Hornets led the Phoenix early in the second half, but Elon rallied for the win. Darby is averaging 13 points, four rebounds, and 3.5 assists this season.
