Lynchburg College recently earned a Silver Award in The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) Loyal E. Horton Dining Award competition in the residence hall dining category. The award is the eleventh presented to the College by the organization since 1990 and recognizes excellence in the daily menu offered in college and university dining rooms.

NACUFS Dining Award logoFor the competition, colleges and universities were classified as large, medium, and small institutions based on enrollment and dining service budget. Lynchburg College competed in the small college classification. There were 146 entries in three categories of competition with 26 in the residence hall dining category.

The award will be presented this summer at the NACUFS national conference.
