Ricky Flynn and Jennie Pernisi Compete at NCAA XC Nationals

         NORTHFIELD, MN – Lynchburg College’s Ricky Flynn (Gaithersburg, MD/Damascus) and Jennie Pernisi (Camden, NY/APW) competed Saturday at the Division III Cross country Nationals, hosted by St. Olaf College.

         Flynn, a sophomore, finished 137th out of 280 men in 26:01 on the five-mile course. Tyler Sigl from the University of Wisconsin-Plattesville won the individual title in 24:24, and New York University won the team title.

         Pernisi, a freshman, took 152nd place in 23:18 on the 6K course, with 280 runners competing. Sarah Zerzan from Willamette won the race in 20:54 and Amherst took the team crown.
