Freshman Caitlin Gibb (King George, VA/King George) opened the scoring at the 17:22 mark of the first half, corralling a loose ball and firing it past the goalie into the cage. Senior Jessie Bowman (Midlothian, VA/Clover Hill) followed with a goal of her own three minutes late from Weir. Weir scored herself at 23:49 from Signey Milks (Gloucester, VA/Gloucester) and LC was ahead 3-0 at intermission. Weir scored her 35th goal of the season after halftime, breaking the 25-year-old LC record for most goals in a season. Katie Brennan (Manassas, VA/Osbourn) added an insurance goal with 13:30 left in the game from Weir.
