Samantha Howard

Samantha Howard, a senior attack from Fairfax Station, VA, helped the Lynchburg College field hockey team to win the 2007 Old Dominion Athletic Conference title Saturday with a 1-0 win over Eastern Mennonite University. Howard was named the tournament’s most valuable player, leading the Hornets to three wins in a week to capture the program’s 11th conference title. Entering the NCAA Tournament, she has 12 goals and nine assists in 22 games for 33 points, third on the team.
