ODAC Announces all-conference Volleyball team

ODAC Announces all-conference Volleyball team

             SALEM, VA – Lynchburg College was well represented Friday evening as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) released its 2007 all-conference volleyball team following the first round of the championship tournament.

             Sophomore Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) earned first-team libero honors, while senior Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) was selected to the second team and senior Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) received an honorable mention.

             Tinsley ranks second in the conference with 455 digs, an average of 5.0 a game. She also has contributed 39 service aces, tied for second on the Hornet squad.  Warlick is seventh in the ODAC with a .286 hitting percentage and sixth with 279 kills (3.0 a game). She ranks second on the team with 276 digs. Sandifer is second in the ODAC with 961 assists (10.33 a game), and also has 39 service aces and 276 digs.
