Samantha Howard Named ODAC FH Player of the Week

Samantha Howard Named ODAC FH Player of the Week

             SALEM, VALynchburg College’s Samantha Howard (Fairfax Station, VA/W.T. Woodson) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Field Hockey Player of the Week for the week of October 30.

             The senior attack scored the game-winning goal in overtime Tuesday at Washington & Lee University to give LC a 3-2 win and the #2 seed in the ODAC Tournament. Howard also assisted on the Hornets’ first goal of the contest and has 13 goals and eight assists on the season.

             The Hornets, winners of nine-straight games, host W&L Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the semi-finals of the ODAC Tournament.
