LC Volleyball Defeats Mary Washington in Five Games
LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated the University of Mary Washington 30-17, 30-22, 19-30, 27-30, 15-8 Saturday in a non-conference match.
Senior Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) posted 14 kills, 16 digs and four blocks, while fellow senior Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) contributed 44 assists, 24 digs and three service aces. Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) had 13 kills, Amanda Walsh (Forest, VA/Forest) tallied 10 kills and six blocks, and Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) added 14 digs.
The Hornets (18-7) host Guilford College Tuesday evening in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match.
