The Book on Cannella: Has the ability to shoot from the perimeter or take the ball to the basket . . . size and quickness will help her gain minutes as a sophomore . . . encouraging spring and fall workouts have coaching staff excited about sophomore season.

Freshman (2008-09): Was injured early in her freshman campaign and struggled to rebound . . . scored a season-high seven points, going 3-4 from the field and 1-2 from downtown in a win over Hollins on 1/17 . . . notched seven points against Roanoke College, knocking down two three-pointers . . . finished with 13 games played on the season.

Before LC: Was a four-year letter winner as a Panther for head coach AJ Higby . . . named the team's most improved player in 2005-06 . . . was a team captain for WHS her senior year . . . led her team to a conference championship and a 13-8 overall mark her senior year . . . was also a four-year standout on the soccer field, also running a year of track at Wallkill . . . was a member of the National Honor Society from ‘06-'08.

Personal: Parents Vincent and Suzanne Cannella . . . athletic training major . . . one brother and one sister . . . part of the LC Westover Honors Program.
