W&L Defeats LC Volleyball in Four

             LEXINGTON, VA – The Washington & Lee University volleyball team defeated visiting Lynchburg College Wednesday evening 30-21, 30-32, 30-27, 30-22 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match.

             Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) had 42 assists and 11 digs, Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) had 10 kills and 17 digs while Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) had a team-best 22 digs. Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) had 11 kills and Amanda Walsh (Forest, VA/Heritage) drilled nine. 

             The Hornets (17-7/5-4 ODAC) host the University of Mary Washington Saturday at 1 p.m.
