Hornet Volleyball Scores Key Five-Set Win over Randolph-Macon

             LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College volleyball team posted a key Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win Saturday over visiting Randolph-Macon College, 19-30, 30-17, 30-22, 25-30, 15-9.

Senior setter Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) posted 54 assists and eight digs, while fellow senior Katie Warlick (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) had a team-best 14 kills and 17 digs.  Sophomore Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) had 34 digs and four service aces, Chelsea Jones (Richmond, VA/Monacan) had eight kills, six aces and four blocks, and Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) and Kylie Lucas (Verona, VA/Fort Defiance) each had 10 kills. Randolph-Macon falls to 10-12 and 5-4 in the ODAC.

            The Hornets (17-6/5-3 ODAC) travel to Washington & Lee University for another ODAC match Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
