2007 Fall Recap


The Lynchburg College softball team competed in a round robin event this fall against Norfolk State and Liberty University on Saturday, September 29. The Hornets opened the fall tournament against Division I Liberty.  The game was tied at 3 -3 in the top of the sixth, but Liberty pulled out a 10-3 victory. In the second game of the day, Lynchburg took on Norfolk State. The Hornets came out on top 9-4 to push them into the championship game. The championship game was a rematch between the Flames and the Hornets in which Liberty University came out on top 6-1.
