Box score

EMORY, VA – The Lynchburg College women’s soccer team used a balanced scoring attack and a dominating defense Tuesday afternoon in defeating Emory & Henry College 6-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.

The Hornet defense allowed the Wasps no shots and no corner kicks as six different LC players found the back of the net. Senior Audrea Hamby (Lutherville, MD/Towson) was the only multiple point scorer for LC, notching a goal and an assist. Ashley Hoath (Alexandria, VA/Mount Vernon), Betsy Kwiatkowksi (Mount Jackson, VA/Stonewall Jackson), Erin Barry (Chester, VA/Immaculate Heart), Amy Krause (Chesapeake, VA/Great Bridge) and Shawn Jackson (Virginia Beach, VA/Kellam) each scored for LC.

Lynchburg (9-2-1/4-1 ODAC) hosts cross-town ODAC rival Randolph College Thursday at 7 p.m.
