LC Women's Soccer Breezes to 11-0 Win at Hollins

ROANOKE, VA - Freshman Betsy Kwiatkowski (Mount Jackson, VA/Stonewall Jackson) posted a hat trick Sunday as the Lynchburg College women's soccer team rolled to an 11-0 win at Hollins University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.

LC scored three times in the first 16 minutes, two by Kwiatkowski from senior Sara Butsavage (Virginia Beach, VA/First Colonial), and never looked back. Kwiatkowski finished with three goals and an assist, while Butsavage netted a score with three assists. Freshman Kelsey Rogers (Upton, MA/Nipmuc Regional) added two goals and an assist, freshman Shawn Jackson (Virginia Beach, VA/Floyd E. Kellam) scored twice and freshman Katie Santos (Cheltenham, MD/Bishop Ireton) contributed a goal and an assist. Cecilia Moore (Washington DC/Wilson) and Danielle Crotty (Mason, OH/Mason) also found the back of the net.

Lynchburg (7-1-1/3-0 ODAC) hosts Roanoke College Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in further conference play.
