Hornet Women's Soccer Plays to 0-0 Tie at GBoro

GREENSBORO, NC - The Lynchburg College women's soccer team played to a 0-0 double overtime tie at Greensboro College Wednesday in non-conference play.

The Hornets controlled most of the action, firing 22 shots to the Pride's five, but Shana Saganich made 11 stops (including three in overtime) to keep the game scoreless. LC was also awarded seven corner kicks, while Greensboro had zero. LC keeper Jackie Bader (Fort Washington, MD/Bishop Ireton) only had to make one save.

Lynchburg (3-1-1) hosts Bridgewater College Friday night at 7 p.m. in an old Dominion Athletic Conference game.
