LC Men's Soccer Drops 3-0 Decision to Emory

RALEIGH, NC - The Lynchburg College men's soccer team was defeated for the first time in the 2007 season Saturday 3-0 by Emory University (GA) at the DIII Esprit Tournament.

The contest was scoreless for the first 73 minutes of play, but Patrick Carver scored on a penalty kick. Patrick McFarland scored just a minute later, and Alex Diego added an insurance goal in the final eight minutes.

Lynchburg (3-1) will play regional powerhouse Salisbury University Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Esprit Tournament.
