The Lynchburg College Water Quality Center provides services that innovatively preserve, protect, and improve environmental quality within Central Virginia, while providing the critical component of environmental education to a wide variety of target audiences. Lynchburg College faculty and staff have a longstanding and cooperative working relationship with organizations at the local, state, and federal levels, and individual stakeholders. The center has three areas of emphasis: Environmental Education, Regional Water Quality, and Watershed Management. Each emphasis targets specific environmental improvement opportunities.
