Direct Inquiries from Parents Regarding Student Grades
Parents who request information about their student's academic progress by telephone or email will receive only general information about College standards, regulations, and available services.
Information about student progress in specific courses will not be made available, but College personnel will encourage students to speak openly and candidly with their parents and will contact students to pass on parental concerns.
College personnel asked to intervene in a student's academic progress by contacting other personnel or by changing a student's schedule will forward the request directly to the student. The College will inform the student of the procedure that must be followed. In this way, the student can take responsibility for his/her college experience.
