About Lynchburg College

Thank you for your interest in Lynchburg College.

We believe, as a small private college of 2,800 students, we're more like a small university because of all of the opportunities available for students. We offer a strong selection of course studies in business, and we have a history of strength in the sciences and health-related fields. We have an especially strong fine arts program and very competitive athletic programs with nationally ranked teams.

We provide students with a wide range of rigorous educational experiences that are grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, enhanced by professional studies, and nurtured by a residential community.

The College serves the central Virginia region through its outreach programs, volunteering projects, and cultural opportunities.
