College Success Strategies (GS 104)

GS 104 is taught by a member of the Academic and Career Services Team and explores factors that contribute to student learning and college success.

The course is designed to reinforce important study habits like time management, note-taking, active reading, and test preparation. Topics of conversation also include personal responsibility, self-awareness, and motivation. Basic academic regulations and campus learning resources are covered as well.   

Sections of the course offered at the start of the fall semester tend to be filled by new students to the College, while sections offered after mid-term and in the spring semester are usually a mix of students.
