Theatre Productions

LC theatre productions are performed on the Dillard Theatre main stage or in the Studio Theatre.

Three main stage productions, 2 Dance Works programs and several studio theatre productions are performed each year. The directing classes use the Studio Theatre for their one-act play series each year. Students act, direct, design and sometimes write original works for production in our Studio Theatre.

Recent main stage shows include: The Good Person of Setzuan, Is He Dead?, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Tempest, Eurydice, and Sweet Smell of Success.

Facilities include a 275-seat main stage theatre, a studio theatre/acting classroom, dressing rooms, scenic studio, costume shop, and properties studios.

Academic credit can be earned by acting in or working on productions.

Auditions for all shows are open to members of the campus community. First year students regularly appear in shows and assume backstage responsibilities.
