At the height of the Great Depression, two small-town kids from nowhere became the biggest folk heroes in America. They craved adventure and each other. Their names were Bonnie and Clyde. Unafraid, unashamed, and irresistible, their daring story of love and crime captured the imagination of a country.

In this original work written for the Lynchburg College Theatre Department, playwright Joshua Mikel explores social media and its impact on individual identity. The play's protagonist, Lillian, receives a mysterious box left to her by a former co-worker at the coffee shop she manages. This co-worker, Larry, recently passed away and along with the box has professed his unrequited love for Lillian. To unravel the mystery of Larry's message, Lillian uses an online program called "Lazarus" to recreate Larry through an algorithm of all his social media interactions.

All shows are student directed and may contain mature themes and language. Student productions are free of charge - no tickets necessary. Shows are performed in the Dillard Studio Theatre.  Latecomers cannot be seated.

Woyzeck is a play that examines the oppression of the poor. It was found incomplete and in pieces after writer Georg Buchners death. The works nightmarish and abstract nature lends itself to many interpretations. LC Theatre will explore it in light of the current conflict in Syria.

Dance Works Concert

April 24-27, 2014

Staff- and student-choreographed pieces performed in a variety of dance styles. Dance Works concerts are free and open to the public - no tickets are necessary. Dillard Theatre.



Admission is free for dance concerts and student play festivals; no tickets necessary.

The Lynchburg College Box Office is open on weekdays one week prior to show dates from 1-4 p.m., unless otherwise noted in the show information.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (60+), and $5 for students, except for the New Play Development Performance and Woyzeck, which will be $5 for all seating.
