This is a great opportunity for young graduates to gain practical skills and broaden their cross-cultural understanding. There are numerous opportunities available for international volunteer and work experiences.
Volunteer experiences available in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Program participants work in health care, caregiving, teaching, and community development.
Funded by the U.S. Government to promote cross-cultural understanding. Participants receive placements in fields such as education, information technology, agriculture, and business. Compensation is at the local level, and returnees receive a re-adjustment bonus upon their return to the U.S.

Combines a Peace Corps assignment with graduate school. Applications to participating institutions and the Peace Corps are made simultaneously. Participants complete coursework in their respective graduate program before completing their Peace Corps experience related to their studies.
