Head Coach - Cross Country, Track & Field
Lynchburg College in Virginia is accepting applications for a Head Menís and Womenís Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Coach.† This candidate will be responsible for implementing a highly successful NCAA Division III program.† The position reports directly to the Director of Athletics.† This is a 10-month position.†

††††††††††† 2.†††††††† Knowledge and commitment to compliance with NCAA, ODAC, and College regulations
††††††††††† 3.†††††††† Identifies and evaluates potential recruits
††††††††††† 4.†††††††† Strength and condition certification desirable
††††††††††† 5.†††††††† Supervises and evaluates assistant coaches
††††††††††† 6.†††††††† Provides academic supervision of student-athletes to ensure retention and graduation
††††††††††† 7.†††††††† Arrange all aspects of scheduling, team travel, etc.
††††††††††† 8.†††††††† Supervise cross country/track & field budgets
††††††††††† 9.†††††††† Participate in Athletic Department functions
Lynchburg College is a Division III institution and is a charter member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Required qualifications:† Bachelorís degree from an accredited 4-year institution; masterís degree preferred.† Successful collegiate coaching experience is required.† Strong interpersonal and communications skills; demonstrated organizational and management ability.† Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.†
