Science Education
With this course of study, you can obtain the designation of master science teacher and the add-on endorsement in earth science in addition to improving your classroom expertise through advanced training in science content areas. The program is a collaborative initiative between the School of Sciences and the School of Education and Human Development.
Our program includes:
- 18-27 hours of science content
- 9-18 hours of education coursework
- 18-hour earth science add-on endorsement option and Earth Science Certificate
- Field-related studies at Lynchburg College's 470-acre Claytor Nature Study Center
