The Student Activities Board (SAB) is the major programming organization at Lynchburg College. SAB is a student-run organization that strives to provide the campus with diverse programs of a cultural, social, educational, and recreational nature.  Any registered student at LC is encouraged to join to help actively plan, implement and evaluate programs.  Currently, SAB consists of a president and five committee chairpersons.

How To Get Involved In SAB

SAB is looking for bright, creative, hard-working students to fill the many challenging and exciting positions. These students will have the opportunity to organize, and execute programs on and off campus, while broadening their business and interpersonal skills.  To meet many new people, and help bring programs of your interest to our campus, join one of our committees today!

Committee Descriptions

LC Expanded - Will be responsible for selling tickets to concerts and activities beyond LC's campus, including trips to other venues and co-sponsorships with other organizations. 

O.P.E.N.  Will be responsible for weekend programs and programming on nights where alternatives to alcohol are desired (i.e. Super Bowl, NCAA Tournament, and Finals Blowout.)

Traditions - Will be responsible for the oversight of major campus events that occur on an annual basis (i.e. Homecoming, Monster Bash, Spring Fling).

Mainstage - Will be responsible for entertainment that is large in scale either due to logistical requirements or due to popularity of artist (i.e. concerts, speakers, Real World cast members).

One Night Stand - Will be responsible for "homemade" programs, local/regional artists, student talent, movies, and coffeehouse-type entertainment.
