About Us Academics Admissions Athletics Giving to the College Graduate Studies Library Student Life

Welcome to the pre-health pages at Lynchburg College.

The goal of the pre-health advisory committee is to help students prepare for the admissions process to the very competitive professional schools in the health area.

We track and help students who identify themselves as pre-health beginning with the freshman year. Each student meets periodically with one of the committee members to ensure he or she is on track academically and is aware of the non-academic qualifications necessary for his or her chosen field.

The most current source of information is in this advising manual for students and the included WWW links. Print information and selected school catalogs are located in the chemistry program office (Hobbs 398).

This manual provides general information and lists of specific courses to take at Lynchburg College to prepare for a career in the health area. Over  fifteen professions are included. If you need more information after viewing the manual, please contact Dr. Jablonski in the biomedical science program (jablonski@lynchburg.edu).
